We process your personal data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR] and the Austrian data protection act [DSG]). Data collection, purposes and legal basis for data processing

We process the personal data disclosed by you on our application page (including any photo you may have submitted)

  • to carry out pre-contractual actions (in particular processing of the application, conclusion of an employment contract, Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR),
  • on the basis of your explicit consent (Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR), if we wish to keep you on record as an applicant,
  • to safeguard our legitimate interests (Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR), if necessary and within the framework of a balancing of interests,
  • to comply with our legal obligations (registration as an employee to the social security system, Art 6 para 1 lit c GDPR).

We process data exclusively on the basis of your application, which you submit to us either yourself or via a third party authorized by you (headhunter, personnel consultant). Without providing the necessary data, it is not possible for us to process your application.

Data transfer to third parties

In order to ensure an optimal application process and to achieve the intended purposes, it may be necessary for us to share your data with third parties within the EEA (IT service providers, printing services, marketing, tax consultants, payroll accounting, bookkeeping).

Duration of data storage

Data of applicants whom we do not hire will be deleted seven months after completion of the application process, unless we ask these applicants for consent to keep their data on file for future consideration. If you have given such consent your data will be retained until you revoke it. For hired applicants, our internal data protection information for employees applies, which can be requested during the application process.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to information about your personal data, to correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability and revocation of consent at any time. In addition, you have the right to file a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority at any time if you have concerns about the processing of your personal data.
